As we always say, a black belt is much more than punching and kicking, it’s about setting an example of leadership in the community, and here’s the perfect example.

Recently Mr Hirst witnessed a road traffic collision, and immediately jumped into action to help with summoning assistance and helping to direct traffic to ensure everyone was safe.

On arrival the Police officers in attendance were so impressed he was presented with a special Police Commendation for his actions.

Well done Mr Hirst!
