At this weekend’s ‘Warriors Assemble’ awards, our junior instructor Robbie Hirst was presented with a certificate in recognition of his achievements in the Martial Arts, and in particular how he’s excelled whilst overcoming the challenges of Osteo Imperfecta (Brittle Bones).

He was presented with his award by Anthony Pillage, who has been a leading light for many UK martial artists by continuing to inspire others whilst battling terminal cancer himself.

As a very special bonus, Robbie was also presented with an additional personal gift by Sensei Tony Bailey.  Tony has been so inspired by Robbie’s tenacity since meeting him at an early awards event that he wanted to make a personal presentation in the form of a specially signed letter and Sensei Bailey’s own ‘master’ belt, which he’d held for more than 15 years!
