If you've not visited the forum for a while then the easiest way to check what's new is to take a look at the top of the screen where there are a couple of convenient links to help you out!
'View New Posts' will show you all the posts made since your last visit.
'View active topics' will show you the threads which have been posted to most recently. i.e. what people are talking about currently.
